What Hivly Does
Hivly is an AI-powered social media management platform. It helps businesses create, schedule, and publish social media posts. You provide your brand information and content direction — Hivly generates professional post designs and captions, which you review and approve before anything is published.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You may create and manage multiple businesses under one account.
You may invite team members to collaborate on your businesses with specific roles and permissions.
Your Content
You own your content. Hivly does not claim ownership of your business information, uploaded photos, brand assets, generated posts, or captions.
You grant Hivly a license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service — generating posts, hosting images, publishing to your connected platforms, and displaying content within the Hivly app.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any photos or brand assets you upload.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is published to your social media accounts.
AI-Generated Content
Hivly uses artificial intelligence to generate post designs and captions. AI output is a suggestion — you review and approve everything before publication.
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or free from errors. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before approving it for publication.
Once you approve and publish AI-generated content through your connected social media accounts, you assume responsibility for that content.
Platform Connections
When you connect a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X), you authorize Hivly to publish content on your behalf within the permissions you grant during the connection process.
Hivly will only publish content that you have explicitly approved and scheduled.
Hivly does not access your social media accounts beyond what is necessary to publish your approved content.
You can disconnect any platform at any time from Business Settings → Platforms.
Team Collaboration
Business owners can invite team members with specific roles: Admin, Editor, or Viewer.
The business owner controls what each team member can do through role-based permissions.
Team members can only access businesses they have been invited to.
The business owner is responsible for managing their team's access and permissions.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Hivly to:
- Create, publish, or distribute illegal content.
- Spam, harass, or impersonate others.
- Upload content you do not have rights to use.
- Attempt to access other users' data or businesses.
- Interfere with the service's operation or security.
- Reverse-engineer the platform or its AI systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Hivly available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
Deletion and Termination
You can delete any individual business and all its data at any time from Business Settings → General → Delete Business.
You can delete your entire account and all data at any time from Account Settings → Delete Account.
Both actions are immediate and permanent.
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, are inactive for more than 12 months, or as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
Hivly is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Content you approve and publish through connected platforms.
- Loss of data beyond our reasonable control.
- Actions taken by social media platforms regarding your accounts or content.
- Business decisions made based on AI-generated suggestions.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Hivly after changes constitutes acceptance.
